This aircraft is a culmination of 18 accident free years of Research and Development by Groen Brothers Aviation. Because the rotor system is in constant auto-rotation, this aircraft is always generating lift without the use of any engine driven devices. Consequently, this vehicle is not susceptible to engine, transmission and/or tail rotor failure which are all common weaknesses in a typical law enforcement helicopter. This centerline thrust, stabilized aircraft can provide the same aerial surveillance and transportation needs as most existing rotorcraft but at a much smaller operational cost.
